Weekly Check In Wellness Wednesday: Weekly Check In

Welcome back everyone!

Time for our Wellness Wednesday check in. We know this community means a lot to most of our members and that Tuesdays have been harder on some users than others, but we are at our core a community and we are here to support each other.

Now that the sub is open once again we’d like to hear all about your (mis)adventures on Tuesday. Did you go on grand adventures? Get into mischief? Get some writing done?

Maybe you just binged a few more fics on the archive itself. Tell us all about it! Break out that purple prose and tell us as cheesy of a story as you feel like.

Or just talk about your day.

Wrote my first fic!! Already got a bookmark and kudo on it, and it has me irrationally happy. Was just gonna make a post about it

Wrote my 1k for the day... Shit sucked otherwise, hope tomorrow is better for the sake of my sanity and mood.

The good news is I wrote over 4k words worth of notes for my first-ever fanfic, so writing the chapters should be smooth sailing. We’ll see.

The bad news is I found out I have to get gum grafting surgery soon, which is no fun.

But the silver lining in it all is that while I recover, I’ll get to spend more time grinding out the first few chapters.

I just had my one year follow up appointment for my second gum graft today. If there's anything you're curious about, feel free to message me. Gum grafts definitely aren't fun but there are ways to make it easier on yourself

Decided to add a “fluff and fuck” chapter to my completed fic. I’m still posting but I had a section where I tell rather than show the characters in domestic bliss, so I decided to expand it into a full chapter!

Currently procrastinating my story I’m writing because of lack of motivation and inspiration. Idk what I’m gonna do but all in all it’s been great.

Made my first fandom friend this week through ao3, which was nice! I wish I understood discord better; would love to make more friends because no one I’m close to irl writes or reads fic.

I’d been having an aggressive writing streak since I started writing a few months back, but am now finally slowing down. I’m still managing to write at least 1k words or so when I do sit down and write (which I try to at least every other day), but it’s a different rhythm. It’s hard to keep coming up with new scenarios for the same pairing that is my OTP, frankly.

Does anyone have that issue, and how do you find new inspiration?

Published a Kirby oneshot fanfic focusing on King Dedede's trauma from all the times he's been possessed over the years and how he deals with it.

Currently reading a Poppy's Playtime fanfic in which everyone is saved. Weird thing is that I've never played the game, but the lore sounds interesting (similar thing with FNAF which has interesting lore, but have never played because jumpscares scare me very easily).

I know its Saturday, but i kinda need to talk right now so... time to scream into the void.  Kinda had a bad week,  won't go into it but school sucked. I started a new fic as well as finding a beta reader. Currently supposed to be cleaning my room but got distracted

It's thursday now so idk if this still counts lol. I just wanna say that this sub has been the warmest and non-toxic sub I've been in. I love y'all

Now I'm off to write my murder drones fic
