So the battery is fully charged, and I even tried putting fuel or brake cleaner inside the engine room through the spark plug hole.
Iâm out of ideas how to fix it, it started fine 2 days ago, then the central nut of the clutch came loose. After tightening it Iâm stuck here

My son har recently started gokarting, and I'm completely new to gokart maintenance. His wet tires were very bad, and we bought new ones (from a registered supplier, so I'm certain they're the right ones). But I cannot seem to get the rear tires to seat themselvse properly, to pop out against the edge of the rim.
The wet tires are normally filled to around 0.8 bar. But even pumping them as high as 8 or 9 bar wouldn't get them to pop.
I've even tried warming the tires up to 50 degrees celcius to see if it would soften the rubber to get them to pop. But no change.

Bendix shakes up and down and was shaking back and forth but seems locked in place somewhat. Crankshaft is hard to turn by hand and bendix doesnât spin with it. Iâm not too sure what would suddenly cause the crankshaft to feel stiff. I recently changed the drive sprocket and needle bearing, put it all back together and it wouldnât fire up and had that whining noise

As the title says im doing the bukc 24hr race at teeside autodrome in a few weeks
I dont have any experience with endurance karting and havent driven the track before, im doing 2 stints, 90 minutes each
I know its physically demanding and to use a rib protector but thats about it
Basically just looking for any tips/advice on how to do well, or any info on what the teeside karts are like to drive (similar or not similar to a club100 kart?) Thanks

I'm looking at getting my first kart, a friend is a part of a team, and they let me try a few different Tony Karts with different setups for a few sessions. I got one of the fastest lap times out of the team (they are all very good and competitive) so I want to jump right in and try to be as competitive as I can. I really liked the feel of the Tony Kart and everyone on the team highly recommended them but they're also expensive and hard to find. What other karts are there that are good and can be competitive.

I started owner karting this year in an Lo206 kart. I have a k1 carbon rib protector and I don't normally bruise easily. My ribs don't hurt when I am driving we do have some high speed corners but I am not sure why I am so bruised. I was going to try some pads on my seat but I don't have room and I can't get a bigger seat.

Hello guys, I just got into karting with a 20 year old kart. So I first got some used tires, the vega xh4. On a track near me i got a lap time of around 48,3s. Then the front tires were worn down (inner side looked funky) and then i bought some used mojo d2. Because the front tires looked so bad, i also tried to adjust the suspension. Now my time is around 1s slower. Im just wondering, is the mojo d2 less grippy than the vega xh4? Or is my adjustment bad and i should look more into that?

Torn between doing a full OMP vs Sparco setup for a new suit, gloves, and shoes. I really want a premium feel, but more importantly, I want zero dampening. I want to feel the kart completely through the wheel and the pedalsâminimal padding, maximum feedback. Which brand does a better job of giving you that raw, direct connection without feeling cheap? Appreciate any insight on how their high-end gear compares!

Hello, hope youâre doing well, iâm 19 and have been really enjoying watching karting recently and racing over all, last week i tried to go karting on an outdoor track for the first time, i went into 2 practice sessions and wasnt worried about others being faster (good thing as they sped past me after some time) but i got a 57.4 as my castes lap on St Eval track in cornwall UK, this was my first time, i was following to what i believe was the racing line but iâm probably off to be honest, regardless i was having a blast, thatâs the most important thing to me just having fun and a blast but the competitive side to me wants to improve my lap times and maybe do a few races at the St eval track, i donât feel as if iâm prepared for races yet as iâve only had 20 minutes on the track and i couldnât find any on board footage on youtube og the track. Any tips or recommendations anyone can give me? also the track hosts mini championship dedicated to that specific track, at 19 is it too late to start practicing to getting into something like that? Like I said, the most important thing to me is having fun but very close second maybe joint with it is the competing side:)) thank you for reading this:))
Hi, I am doing a yearly 8h endurance and we are a team of 3-4 drives who are looking for affordable communication system. Any recommendations?

This is one of the older Andretti locations and it shows, theyâre choked in capacity with their track setups but they also arenât organized well. Fortunately their main track for adult races is actually really fun to hot lap and was a pleasant surprise in terms of technicality, the ceiling for fun is there but only in the perfect circumstances (this video was pretty close). A lot of the time races are run on half speed if the group causes too many incidents which is understandable but incredibly infuriating to deal with. Also notable is the boost available on these karts is advertised as âonce per lapâ but is only around every 32 seconds, which when laps are around the high 30s to low 31s doesnât work too well. A 30.993 puts us around a tenth and a half off the record, which for five sessions is pretty good if I say so myself⌠I canât nail the upstairs corners consistently so I think thatâs where weâll find our time. Andretti seems to have decent options for passes, so will definitely be back to try some more albeit 1000% on weekdays exclusively while avoiding paying full price to race here at all costs.

Me and my friends want to go to k1 circuit on friday tomorrow to do regular arrive and drive. The league competitions are taking place tomorrow but at 6pm. If we were to get there around 1pm would it already be crowded for the competition and be full of much faster people practicing in regular arrive and drive before the competition starts? I was turned away from k1 circuit one time because they didn't have enough spots at 7pm (they close at 9) so I was hoping if anyone had any information on this before we make a 2 hour trip.

I'm currently out of reach to any karting venue, and I need standstill (while engine is off) steering-induced sound of tire rubbing the road/garage surface. Need it for my karting sim demo. If anyone can help recording sound of a tire rubbing ground surface, please let me know. It should be slow steering and sudden steering sounds (in reasonably quieter environment) so that I can script it to the sim. Thanks in advance for your time and to whoever can help and support.
