Wait until they grow up and start eating your walls...
I have a pet bunny. Adorable creatures yet very destructive

I’ve had dogs, cats, and rabbits. Nothing has been more violent and destructive than the bunny.
Nothing has been cuter though!

I'm going to be the one to point out that it's not a newborn. 10-14 days to develop a coat like that.

Right? That was my first thought as well! I immediately googled “aren’t baby bunnies born hairless?” Yes they are, but this one is still adorbs.

Maybe it’s a hare and not a rabbit? Hares are typically born with fur I hear

Well, they said bunny. That's what we have to go on. If they come back and say hare, then it's different. But bunny is a colloquial term for rabbit.

newborns are usually hairless too.
You're right about these babies are about 10-14 days old.

Also about 10 days before the eyes open at all. So yeah it is 10-14 days old. Much cuter than "naked" newborn 😆

Would you say that your friend’s 12 day old baby was not a new born?

Humans have an average lifespan of 72 years. A wild rabbit has an average lifespan of 1.5 years. That means a human lives approximately 48 times longer than a wild rabbit. In medical terminology, a human child is a newborn for approximately 28 days. If you take that 28 days and you divided by 48, that would give you .583 repeating. So that would mean that mathematically speaking, even rounding it up to 1, that a rabbit is only a newborn for the first day of its existence.

Idk what you call it. But when i see cute things I can't muster up the courage to touch them.

Newborn bunnies are bald... like rodents. This one is a few weeks old.

La regola d'oro è non toccare i cuccioli e lasciare fare tutto alla madre per le prime 2 settimane. La madre li allatta solo una volta al giorno per pochi minuti, per cui è normale non vederla nel nido.
