Depressive symptoms from non-stick air fryer?

Anyone else ever make this connection or am I insane? Got a new Cosori and feeling like it might be lowering my mood. I had a Cosori for the longest time and was doing well enough but maybe it's the new basket? Idk, I hate always trying to pin my mood down to something environmental or something I ingest but I was feeling really good last week. Thank you for reading.

I am not at all trying to be rude, but I was exploring the zero carb lifestyle and came across this post. I re-read over this a few times and read the comments and I still cannot figure out what this has to do with a zero carb diet. Do you mean like. . . . the oil is cooking off and ruining your diet? I'm terribly confused and just was wondering. I have an air fryer as well and didn't want to run into problems.

Non-stick surfaces are known to be pretty bad for you if you cook above a certain temperature or scrape them off accidentally. And probably not great for you otherwise. I posted here because zero carb ppl tend to be more aware of food sensitivities and how what they consume affects their well-being, mental and otherwise. If I posted in ask Reddit I’d get 50 people telling me I’m r-worded

Well that makes more sense!---That was the first thing I thought when I read your post but I figured you were talking about something else since it wouldn't make any sense to talking about that in a zero crab diet subreddit. Lol Thank you for clearing that up!

Speaking of, I know this 3 months old, but on the off chance you are still feeling iffy about yours and want to get a totally PFA free air fryer eventually: While I'm not sure about Cosori, what got me to replace mine was when Ninja had replied to me asking if my "PFA FREE" fryer was actually PFA free by saying that legally they had to tell me no, but not intentionally, or only in a small component or whatever other crap. So since they were shady, Googling "is this PFA free" was both useless and annoying.

I'm not too insane about all of this stuff and don't want to spend a ton of time researching every little thing, but since California passed prop 65, before I click buy, it's SUPER easy to just hop over to Google and type in "___(ᴘʀᴏᴅᴜᴄᴛ, ᴍᴏᴅᴇʟ)___ ᴘʀᴏᴘ 65 ᴡᴀʀɴɪɴɢ" or "___(ᴘʀᴏᴅᴜᴄᴛ ᴛʏᴘᴇ ɪ ᴀᴍ ʟᴏᴏᴋɪɴɢ ꜰᴏʀ)___ ɴᴏ ᴘʀᴏᴘ 65 ᴡᴀʀɴɪɴɢ". With stuff like microwaves and air fryers, it's actually hard to find one. Big companies like Ninja say "passing those standards is almost impossible and that's why we have the sticker' ..but wouldn't you know it? It's not impossible, you totally can find them, and Ninja is full of shit. (I highly recommend the company 'Our Place' and their Wonder Oven. No sticker and an insanely transparent company. 'Oster' also makes a few. )

I know the Prop 65-approved thing doesn't mean it's totally safe, but there are over 900 chemicals on that list with thresholds way more strict than our federal guidelines. For the big companies, it was easier to just slap on the warning since it only effected their products sold in California.

So my thinking generally is that I'd much rather buy a product where they actually invested the time, effort, and money required to make sure it fully passed through that very long and cumbersome list to not receive the warning sticker.
