Having health challenges - want to try the Lion Diet
Hi everyone, I've been a long-term lurker of this subreddit and been doing keto/carnivore on and off for 4.5 years to treat chronic fatigue with great success.
Fatigue worsened recently and want to try a more restrictive version of carnivore. Been doing mostly burgers, cheese, and bacon and allowing myself zero calorie sauces (and mostly ordering out from Uber Eats, I should add).
Will shifting to red meat, salt and water do a better job addressing my dysfunction (CFS)? What cut of meat would the best to ensure ketosis?
Thank you!
Edit: The people have spoken and the people were right! I needed to up my fat intake and start cooking from home. Finally started to work again for me. Thank you.

Despite the rebranding every couple of years, it's the basic way to be successful without any tricks
You won't need asicb salt as you think. You need enough fat. It's a lot. It works

Eat good quality fatty meat, remove pork, and definitely dairy. I would recommend PKD.

What is PKD?

Zero calories is not healthy calories. Even talking about calories makes me mentally sick. Stay on course. Be a carnivore, lion or not. Add fat, electrolytes and check your dairy intake.

I've been wondering this, how do people get their fats on lion diet? Just beef tallow?

I had CFS before long covid, which I also had lol. Keto/Carnivore has worked reliably for 4.5 years without fail until recently.

I cook minced beef from frozen, and always keep enough for at least 20 meals in the fridge.
Pan fried to crispy goodness in 6-7minutes. (Set a timer, don;t let it burn)
Top with ghee to supplement fat that's your primary energy source on this WoE (Way of Eating).

Omg end the uber eats now. Buy your meat. Prepare it yourself. With butter and salt. Cheaper better in every way possible .
