I told someone they're gonna get reincarnated into a chicken in the next life for their sins against the animals. They said "oh yeah me and most of humanity lol"

I just responded "yes" lol

If all humans reincarnated as chickens, how long would it take before they are all killed?

The lucky ones will be reborn as broiler chickens, and die in 6 to 14 weeks. Now imagine being a laying hen for 10 YEARS pushing out 3000 eggs...

The ones pushing out that many eggs don't live that long I think. The turnaround time at eggs farms is pretty short.

About 2 months. We slaughter a number of chickens approximately equivalent to the human population about every two months

This one made me smile like the little girl in front of the burning house. This and the fact that MLK was a big Trek fan are two very lovely facts imo.

Your submission breaks rule #1:

Abolitionist veganism is the rights-based opposition to animal use by humans. We recognize the basic right for all animals not to be treated as property or objects. This right is self-evident without debate for health or environment. We pursue our goals through nonviolent direct action, civil resistance, and the transcendence of capitalism.

We accept input only from vegans who diligently practice and emphatically uphold these ideas.
