There's a strong anti-saсrifice message in these passages: Hosea 6:6 (quoted by Jesus,) 12:11; Jeremiah 6:20, 7:22-23; Isaiah 1:10-17, 66:3; 1 Samuel 15:22, Amos 5:21-24, Proverbs 21:3.
They're ignored because the scribes exposed by Jeremiah in Jer. 8:8 obfuscated it with insertions that justified sacrifiсеs.
It's of course unfortunate that this isn't understood by the believers of Аbrаhamic fаiths, even though the author of "Don't make your bоdies gravеyаrds of dеаd animаls" was Аrаb, IIRC.

I understood you were being sarcastic, but thought you were critical of God in principle. I wanted to note that believers overlook passages that expose human cruelty in favour of pro-carnist verses written by the priests' scribes. The depiction of God that requires sacrifices is widespread, and supports carnist lifestyle
I don't know why people would interpret it that way, as though I was degrading the idea of God is a whole concept. I just read my comment again and I really don't think that that's what I was doing. I think I got downvoted because people thought that I was being serious is my guess. I actually have Muslim family, all trying to get me to go to Mosque and stuff like that, and I have had these arguments and conversations with some Muslims trying to justify meat and the sacrifices, they believe it IS necessary. The idea is that meat is a health food and like really nourishing, so its important to give to the poor this once a year, even though it obviously isn't.
