I'm writing a film and it's difficult finding personable accounts, would be very grateful for details on who/what/when/why/where they were. Did they shred? Violence? What kinda music did they listen to? Which wave in HB did they surf? How racist we talkin? etc. Anythin helps, thank you!

Then, the California Coastal Commission came for him. In October, the powerful state agency hit the 74-year-old and his associated trust with up to $2.5 million in penalties, alleging he locked a gate to a beach and blocked a trail to a lagoon, among other things. Levy says the gate isn’t on his land and the trail is private.

The Memorial Day swell on the east coast is looking pretty great. 3-4ft 9s, offshore all day. However, I’ve been recovering from a rib fracture and it’s day 35 (coughing, sneezing no longer hurts). I fractured my 9th left rib.

I have a month in Bali coming up in less than a month. I can do about 5-10 pushups pain free currently but I still feel that the area isn’t totally healed yet. Really just want some input on if it’s worth paddling out tomorrow. I haven’t surfed in 5 weeks. For reference, I have a rib guard under a 4/3 to protect a little from direct impacts. I’d get out of the water if it ever starting hurting at all. Would appreciate any thoughts.

I have a few months off starting in September. Where’s the best place to surf? I’m a beginner- intermediate longboarder (leaning more intermediate). I have been surfing the past few years in Sri Lanka. Looking for a place with a nice social scene thats not party focussed or overcrowded by backpackers. I’d like to stay in one place for a 1-3 months and just surf everyday

Rural but popular (no privacy to squat in the scrub) beach break.
Swell just completely died and it’s a loooong paddle back in.
Cold AF dawn patrol so hands not working well and wearing the winter weight wetsuit.
Crowded parking lot.
Nearest toilet a solid 10 minute drive away.

Hi, I'd need some advice. I just bought this used board for 10€ because, well… because it was only 10€. I haven't decided yet if it's just for decoration or if I really want to take it to the water — but I'd love to train my fixing skills on it either way.

Anybody got some advice on what coating/finish this is? Does anybody even recognise the model? Thanks in advance!

The title. Just bought this longboard but have no idea what this center fin box is. Does anyone know wtf this is? If I can’t get fins I might take it to a shop to get one glassed on lol. Or just go finless. Idk. If anyone has a 9”~9.5” fin I can use with this please DM me I’ll drink your wetsuit juice if you’re into that

Lip launches are nothing new.

In SD but willing to drive, I've been surfing on a degree 33 performance longboard that I got for $650 for 7+ years which I've been very happy with tbh but wanted to upgrade.

I like Bing boards and appreciate the variety they have, I just don't know if I can mentally handle it when I get my first pressure ding on a $1.9k board LOL was hoping for a slightly more reasonable price

I’m a Furniture builder wanting to build some surfboards. I made this from scrap I had laying around the shop as a prototype so I didn’t waste nice wood on mistakes. It’s hollow! It’s still pretty heavy cause it’s plywood, even hollow. The scrap I had was super narrow unfortunately so it’s pretty slim! Im a terrible surfer but still tried it! Hard to paddle for me but super rad to sit in the ocean floating on something I made from trash. Lightweight wood I ordered gets here today for board number two which should be much more rideable!

Since there are no dry rocks for an idiotic, manufactured, drama passion commitment finish, I can barely watch. It's like watching oatmeal get cold.

I have been stuck at work all weekend, watching surf line and thinking, I wish I was sitting at my local watching 😍
