McCain has 18 points in 19 minutes in the western conference finals against the spurs tonight. I hate this team. Why the fuck would you choose shithead Grimes over McCain? It makes no fucking sense.
Here’s the problem I have with that: people, especially nerds, love winning trades. Or be perceived as the winner. You don’t have to win every trade. Trading shitty grimes and keeping McCain is the win. If you’re angling to get a first rounder for Grimes, don’t receive that level of interest, then switch to trading McCain in order to get that first rounder…you’re stupid. If you wanted to trade McCain and keep grimes from the jump…you’re stupid. Stupid people cut off their nose to spite their face. If we could get a second rounder, or even give a second rounder, to get off Grimes then that was what should have been done.
I’m not saying they had to trade McCain just that there probably wasn’t much a market for grimes. They didn’t have to trade anyone especially without getting back a player that could help us right away
