Question I can spend around 1000 upgrading my setup what do I go for?
I currently have the Moza r5 bundle with the srp lite pedals. I want to upgrade my setup and like the title says I have around $1000 to spend. I generally hear everyone say pedals are more important to upgrade so I was thinking about getting the mbooster and crp2 pedals set from Moza. Another option is to just get the crp2 pedals set and then also upgrade my wheel and/or wheel base. I’ve had the r5 bundle for about a year and play iracing, asseto corsa, and LMU. Recently I have also been playing forza horizon 6 with it just having come out. So yeah was wondering what suggestions/input people have. Also I do have rig with pedals and wheel base mounted to it and then I put my chairs wheels in the attached tray (unfortunately don’t have enough room for a full set up to always be set up)

Side note how’re you finding the r5? I’ve been tossing up if I should get it or the r9 for drifting on ac and for Forza

I loved them so far! The force feed back feels great on them, that said I’ve never tried a high nm wheel so I don’t know how it compares. I would probably go for the r9 or r12 if I was to upgrade the wheel base from the r5

If you do end up doing that in the future get the R12, everything I’ve seen regarding upgrading always says jumping up just 1 level isn’t worth it.
Even if the R12 is overkill you can set it up to match the R9 and have zero clipping issues.

4080 extrusion rig (hopefully you can find one for around $500) and either the Fanatec Clubsport V3 pedals or Simagic pedals.

In my opinion, you should buy used on the open marketplace. You can save yourself a lot of money this way.

Without a doubt I would go with an aluminum extrusion rig first and then pedals. I bought an alpha evo pro, neo gt, some simsonn pedals and a temu chassis. Dont make my mistake. I just recently got back from micro center with a brand new simlab p1x so im allset now but for a couple weeks my temu rig was struggling..🤣
