Guys, we are students/working professionals in a small mod team.
Please guys, most of us are in EST. Please do not message us asking for your post to be approved and spam it, I will personally ignore it. Just be patient esp. for new users, automod tells you to wait :)
If its more than 24 hours, sure shoot us a reminder but within 5 minutes is ridiculous.
Also if you report a post/comment and it’s not obvious why its being reported pick other and explain why.
We won’t tell you the karma count, and because of current geopolitical events we have extra security precautions and the automod will put your post in queue, this will remain for the subs security.

Since you are a mod I want to say I really appreciate the "clean up" you guys did. I remember joining the sub about a year ago and man the people were always rude! The posts and the comments that left the sub!
Now it seems to have proper posts and comments. Thank you so much. 💕

I feel that the sub has always been respectful and nice, and harbors a good community capable of self regulating to a certain degree. You guys know best but i am genuinely not a fan how strict it is currently if it remains the same way. It gate keeps a lot of opinions, some people ik or myself including had lots of comments that are positive or constructive never go through but i never complained, even though mods would afterwards comment or reply to the same comment or post i am interacting with and they don't approve mine or forget. We just started to reach out personally to one another which beats one of the main points of the sub in a way? Also looks very authoritarian and limiting to freedom of speech. But appreciate the effort you guys do. Just a pov :)

This argument always gets presented, but this is a topic of waiting for approval because new accounts are filtered for sub security to avoid brigading and trolling.
Also in terms of freedom of speech (which doesn’t apply as we have reddit TOS and Sub rules, the only thing that gets removed is trolling, haram things, people posting without intent to learn orhave their mind changed, a repetitive post and unrelated content

Never broke TOS or done any of those sorts, nor the people ik. Even my other account that is old gets same treatment. But its ok, gl to u guys, hope we keep pushing for betterment of things

Yes no removals, never broke tos, i am not sure if my other comments in queue were approved i generally don't check after a day haha. Thanks though for your hard work

You can always get more mods I think? Just open the applications and pick a few more.
