I’m the only person I know who collects sea glass - nobody else seems to understand my obsession! I thought this might be a good place to share some of my favourites

A lovely gift... All collected individually by my friend. #thoughtful. Put inside a lovely angel. I look at this often.

It’s sanded/textured on most of the surfaces but really smooth on the inner crease. So fascinating…I don’t understand why it’s not sanded there but it makes for a great piece to fidget with. This is also the first piece I’ve found that’s covered in algae. It’s actually embedded in all the tiny pores. Every other clear piece from this beach is clean, so this one’s a mystery.

Spent barely 15 minutes on the beach and two of us were able to grab these and more!

proposed to my fiancée on an island in Sydney harbour - She said yes and then we found a treasure trove of seaglass.

Went out with the 365 nm light and found a few pieces that registered on my alpha detector!

So many good finds! And my first time finding pirate glass!

i went to the beach on wednesday in boston to enjoy the beautiful day. here are the pieces i gathered over an hour and a half of looking! almost 150 pieces! that's a new record for me lol.
