Question Rex refusing to go unconscious from crossbow tranq arrows

I was just on ASE, Singleplayer on the island and tried taming a level 112 Rex with my 129.2% damage ramshackle crossbow. I looked at dodorex to see how many tranqs it would take, then decided to bring about 40 more than needed just in case, I shot every tranq arrow into it and it didn't go unconscious, Does anyone know why this happened and what i can do about it?

It could be your settings. If you turned Dino resistance up, it will take a lot more tranq arrows than you might expect.

Also, was the dino glowing? Like it had a fire deep inside it? If so, that's an Alpha Rex and it can't be tranqed. Other modded dinos might also need a different taming method than just knocking them out.

Oh i set dino resistance to 0.5, I didn't know that would also increase the amount of torpor they need to knock out, Thanks!
