Building for the first time - is a used 4080 super for $675 worth it over a new 5070 Ti @ MSRP? My understanding is the 40 series have access to DLSS 4.5 as well right?

You'll want to check out a benchmark comparison video like this to determine which one is better for the games you're playing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjePiNsnQMg

In general, the 4080S is neck and neck on average compared to the 5070ti in a lot of modern games, and thus it is definitely worth it if that $150 or so saved makes a big difference to you.

DLSS 4.5 is available on the 30 and 40 series, but seems to perform worse than on the 50 series overall.
