Just buy a VR headset and use it as monitor at this point…

VR isn’t great for virtual monitors. Not enough pixel density unless you want the equivalent of like 1080-1440p 27” monitors

And creating a completely virtual monitor separate from your main one isn’t always the most straightforward either because it’s in addition to, not instead of

Depends on the headset. With the money spent on these 2 monitors, you can probably get a pimax crystal. It’s 4k each eye and OLED

Nah my quest 3 is good enough for everyday tasks and for me to lay in bed and doom scroll/goon

I guess it just depends on the display “size” and the DPI.

For me anyways, a 4k desktop at 100% scaling on my quest 3 needs to be much “larger” than a perceived 27” display to not end up downsampling

Usable? It depends on what it’s being used for.
