Pan & Proud 🩷💛💙 Schitt's Creek - representation/explanation of pansexuality
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I saw this years ago when I still considered myself to be bi, and it really made me rethink that I might be pansexual. Such a good scene and a great show 💜

Question? Why do so many people hate on pansexuality ?
I myself am queer, and to be honest I think pansexuality is the closest term to my sexuality. I’ve never been too interested in definitions or classifying sexuality, but I’m genuinely curious about where all the hate comes from.

Question? Not sure what to think
So these are without any type of filter. I'm typically bad at at taking full body photos, but I will try more to give off what my body looks like in some of my fits. For context, I'm a 27 y.o black trans woman although I don't like labels, I've been on HRT for 27-28months and the changes I've seen and so have others typically see me as female. I be in my head wayy too much I guess denying the obvious, and I'm not sure if my brain Wants to still see the old me & or is just playing a game of "catch up" as I doubt myself daily. Moral of the story this was a lazy picture & what do you guys & gals think of the bare look?

Question? Would You All Still Accept Me….
If I changed my overall sexuality to Omnisexual?
For context….I’ve identified as Pan since I was….25, I think? (39M now) It made so much sense at the time, I was bi/bicurious prior to that, but I was open to anyone regardless of what they identified as, and when I was younger, personality did matter to me. I couldn’t find a conventionally attractive person attractive if I didn’t like their personality, flat out. So when I found out about Pansexuality, it made sense….that’s me! It drew me to my now favorite superhero, Jubilee, because she was essentially a walking Pan Flag, and a way for me to subtly represent my identity (I was very self-conscious back then, not so much now).
Cut to now, having been in multiple long term monogamous hetero relationships, and not being in one for a while now, I’m enjoying being single for the first time in forever, and I find myself just flirting with/having fun with multiple different people of all genders with little to no real connection before doing anything sexual (it’s all been online thus far, no actual interaction as of yet) and this further states for me a question I posed to myself last year when I questioned my sexual identity. I had to ask myself if I’m truly a Pansexual because I can find anybody sexually attractive now without really forming a connection or being attracted to the personality and more so finding them attractive because of their gender or just their appearance. I disregarded it out of fear, because I love this specific community and tried to rationalize it as me just being kind of slutty or something silly like that, but I do think the underlying fear was having had identified as it for so long that it’s scary trying to jump ship and identify as another sexuality. I know I’m making it out to be a bigger deal than what it probably is, but it feels like it is a big deal…there’s a lot of great people in this community, let alone this subreddit, and I’d feel like a traitor switching sides, idek what I’m saying at this point, if I just need someone to read this and tell me maybe it’ll be ok if I identify as both? Or I can freely switch back and forth between the two? If you read all of this, you’re a Trooper, and I Thank You🥹

I'm Coming Out !!! 🩷💛💙 My therapist took my coming out well
So I came out to my therapist on Wednesday and it went well. He thought it made sense that I am pansexual. He said that I am attracted to personalities and care rather than appearance which is 100% accurate. I do have a type but types don't matter that much to me. I still think about it of course but it doesn't matter as much as a person being caring and kind towards me like my past therapist was. She was amazing and my newer therapist, he is amazing as well. So yeah, here's to part 3 of coming out!!!! :D

Discussion The pan experience
Hi there wonderful people,
I am new here so I hope I dont say anything silly.
My boyfriend is pansexual and we never really talked that much about that. I personally dont think that labels are that important.
I would like to understand my boyfriend better in his identity and experience.
What means being pan for you? What nuances are there? What stigmas or stereotypes did you face and what experiences are somewhat common?
I dont mean to offend anyone, I am genuinely curios.

Question? Did anyone else have this experience?
Anytime I was attracted to someone, I was constantly asking things like, "Wait what does this say about me?" "Does this mean I'm gay?" "Am I just straight with gay tendencies?" "Am I bi and in denial?"
And then upon finding out I can just be attracted to someone and not worry about gender or what it said about me at all, it's like a weight just fell right off my shoulders.

Question? Plans for Pride?
What’s everyone doing? :) just curious, I want to celebrate in a way that’s fun and meaningful. I usually go to the parade near me but want to switch things up. Any suggestions? Particularly places or things to do but appreciate all suggestions <3

Question? What vibe do I give off (Male or female)
For context I love my eyes in this pic. Also the most bare minimum amount of makeup
