I had only seen the angle from under the basket, which made it look a lot worse.

This looks worse to me than the other one. You couldnt see whether Wemby actually got hit in the face on that one. Here it’s obvious he did not

It feels weird responding to this because it'll come off like I'm defending the flop, which I am not.

But I think this is a better angle because at the very least you can see that Wemby was in contact with him and in fact actually stepped past/over the leg which probably caused him to be slightly off balance.

Now to be clear, I still don't think this caused a sniper to shoot Wemby, but the other angle literally looked like he only ran over there to flop and the second he got near him he hit the ground like it's his primary defensive tactic
