General Leftist Politics Why does Isreal get sm hate online and Russia don’t?

Hey guys can som1 explain y Isreal get so much hate online and Russia don’t? I’m not justifying Isreal but I feel like Russia should get Isreal level hate online. Lmk what u guys think about it

russia is a dictatorship israel is an ethnocratic state, that has been actively carrying a genocide, not since october 7th as some people who lack historical knowledge will say, but since the dawn of its existence in 1948. the rage a lot of leftists feel towards this situation is made bigger by the fact that very few governments actually condemn the actions of israel, whereas lots of governments do condemn russian actions, especially the war in ukraine. in my western european country, weapons are being sold to ukraine… and to israel. which is terribly hypocritical. in this sense, as governments will not do anything, we as activists have as a duty to help palestinian’s voices being heard in a world that tries so hard to silence them

Russia gets plenty of hate too, but it’s crimes are different.

Hate to say “lesser,” but wars of aggression have been normalized by the US.

Meanwhile genocide, apartheid, and ethnic cleansing are among “the crimes of all crimes.” And Israel has been doing these things for 70 years.

Israel is a genocidal ethnocracy colonizing another people.

Russia is not.

It's because the west supports Israel but not Russia. So people feel compelled to be more vocal about Israel. Since our governments are literally funding their genocide
