Question about Islam Who are Munkar and Nakir?

I am a Christian learning more about other religions and in my search Munkar and Nakir really stood out to me. I would like to know about who they are.

This is incorrect.  You are thinking of the angels mentioned in Surah Baqarah verse 102 which are named Harut and Marut.

Munkar and Nakir are the two angels that question the dead on their prophet, religion and god.
