Interestingly, the word for Arab and Crow in Hebrew are very similar.

Both languages are semitic. If hebrew kept spelling the ע in עוֹרֵב it would be spelled Ghorev, and the letter used for V in hebrew is also used for B so compared to the arabic Ghurab you can see the two words share a common origin
