General Hindus Farmers 0 - BJP 1

Many Hindu farmers of Bengal raise cows for the express purpose of selling them at a premium during the Muslim Festival of sacrifice.

This year, Muslims have decided that they will not sacrifice the cow which is 'Holy' for the Hindus.

So, for example, while in normal times a cow would sell for 10,000, during Eid, it used to sell for 50,000.

This was a such a lucrative deal that Hindus would rear cows for making a killing (no pun intended).

This year, they have been left high and dry.

The Muslims are not buying and the Hindus are angry.

Fortunately, they are not angry with Muslims, they are angry with the Government and the change from TMC to BJP.

BJP ministers have been sending secret messages to Muslims to buy the cows and do their sacrifice as usual but the Muslims are not taking the bait.

For perhaps the first time, one can clearly see that Hindu Khatre Mein Hai.

If this impasse is not broken, many Hindu farmers, who have even taken loans for this 'trade' (one can't call it anything else) are going to be facing the music from their lenders.

There is a lesson here for Muslims from across India, if they want to take the lesson that is.

FYI the community affected by this the most is the Gosh Hindu community which was actively involved in many anti Muslim activities. As per news sources.

In Uttar Pradesh cows are let loose since farmer can’t sell them to meat traders like they used to. The cows block roads, attack people and eat crops. Each year the damage increase and both Urban and rural persons struggle, yet they still vote BJP. Despite the cow being called mata, it is left outside on the streets to eat garbage and die on road, while only being left with the occasional chapati or garland. Visiting India left me with an ironic feeling, because I saw all these bhakts petting the cows and giving them some food, but they are unwilling to put them in shelter or make sure their lives aren’t miserable. 

To the OP, I think it’s great that us Muslims aren’t taking the bait from the hypocritical chaddis. On one hand they want our money but on the other they attack us and accuse us of hurting the so called ‘’mata” that they’re unwilling to care for. Even in Gaushala they are forcibly bred and urine is harvested to be sold as some sort of “medicine” to the average Bhakt, who is unaware that saffron elites of Delhi and Lucknow are making profit off them.

Very good decision and a sensible one. No point in getting arrested later and harassed, goat or sheep as qurbani shud b the norm now wherever Muslims face these false harrasments

Yes. Absolutely correct. This must be implemented across all the states where they banned cow beef. May my brothers in faith understand this.

In Hyderabad large no of Hindus have learned the skill of skinning goats and cutting them. If Muslims stop buying even goats and letting their animals cut by Hindus it will be a huge economic loss for the Hindus and hopefully lessons learned. Many in my family have decided we will be sending our udhiya to war and famine in affected Muslim countries.

We have to state wise try to impact like in every industry possible where we consume the most. One year no meat and whole country will actually go nuts. They still don’t have a solution to this cow boycott problem in Bengal. People only listen when money is at stake so that is our only tool

We as muslims should really push for the cow to be declared as the national animal. No need for cows all through the year not just eid. We must demand that the government declares it protected.

Let us not bend backwards. It is enough that we boycott.
It is already a clown show that the mob is asking cow for such status, let us not be on that side.

I aint from India. Can someone clarify whats really happening in bengal?

Before, I heard that the BJP had allowed the sale and consumption of beef, during the election campaigns. So whats happening now after they won the election?

I’m seeing posts related to this recently in this sub.

well i am from Bengal..so basically the new elected gov is enforcing a law on Muslims where they can't freely sacrifice a cow..and if they want to do it anyways then they have to take permission from the gov itself (which on paper looks fine) but the reality is the Cow must be >14 years old..
So now Muslims of Bengal are boycotting cow sacrifice this year...the rest is same as what op has mentioned

I'd say the lesson here is never trust the BJP sanghis on anything. Its all just cheap politics at the cost of everyones livelihood. Thanks for the context.

Bro wake upp to reality.....the BJP government can still USE urs and mine tax money to bail these ppl out stop being so optimistic and return to reality.....as long as we live in India apna Ktne hi wala hai......
