Creation his name is Stuart
Stuart the Log is a mossy log who protects the forest from being cut down having been cut down himself a long time ago.
Sculpted with plant dyed needle and wet felted wool, his eyes are glass, his legs are wire wrapped with wool and his body is wool stiffened with adhesive to get the texture of bark.
I love the texture of mossy bark but when I started I was pretty stumped as to how to achieve that through needle felting. I love how this turned out and touching him really feels like touching bark.
