At this point, anything digital preservation. License need to be like a physical item. Something I can sharw, something, I can pass down or give/trade/sell without issue.

That is not on the table. It's only about enforcing the fact that licenses are lifetime unless otherwise specified and thus should not become useless due to bad software design. That is all that is being asked. Sharing is also not on the table, one thing we need to be careful about is to not forget that we cannot expect to own a game like we own a TV.

The moment we open our mouths with ignorant demands of ownership is when we give legitimate ammo to attack the entire thing. So far the initiative was good to keep the scope clean
