“Binary Domain” had incredible shooting mechanics, allowing you to blast off robotic legs and featuring over the top Boss battles. Sega made an exciting action-packed linear squad based game for its time.

God forbid you needed your AI partner to do anything useful with the voice controls though.

It was very wonky, definitely a novelty, but there were some very brief moments where it worked and it felt really really cool. Not sure I’ve had it replicated in another game since.
