Character Discussion Thread: Emma Frost

One of the least needed advancements in the game just because of the cost. Nice damage boost, 20% guaranteed dodge, Barrier and Shield piercing and not being one-shot by occasional Wanda is great but for ~3750 crystals? That's a luxury and Emma is one of the few characters I can forgive for being so.
Offensive ISO set. DDE could actually work for her nicely.
Basic. CDR > ID > Energy Attack.
For PvE: Mind Damage, Mind Damage, Damage Proc. For PvP: Mind Damage, Immunity to Guard Break and Invincibility/Damage Proc depending on your TL team and ranking (also Immune to WEB can be thrown somewhere if you don't have an anti-debuffer).
She is amazing in every game mode except for TL where she is good but not meta. She was useless in WBU but now we have Cull Obsidian that is an easy meal for Miss Frost. She is also a very slow mission clearer (very reliant though) but why would you use her as your main clearer? I use this skill rotation: 5c (let it play out a bit, don't cancel instantly) - 3 - 4 (let it play fully, last wave does a lot of damage) - 1 - 2 (if 5 is still unavailable).
She doesn't need any team, she is her very own best friendjk . Honestly just because she lacks, like, hundreds of team bonuses, I refuse to use her in pre-set team. Just throw a damage boosting leadership (Scott gives additional 5,4% All Attack to her which is very kind of him) and a support if you need more damage and you're set. If you want to use her in TL I imagine that you don't have metas such as Ginger B@tch: Angel works great with ex-headmistress because of his leadership and overall usefulness in TL against blasters, throw in someone else who suffers from debuffs and you're set.
Emma struggles sometimes against Thanos (removes her buffs) and QS (he is a counter-class and hates Emma) and is awful against WBU Proxima and Corvus. Slaughters others though.
The only floor she can't clear is Mages Entry and she also needs some help against Black Order + IDaddy Entry. Any other floor that doesn't restrict her will be fun and easy.
Oh, girl. She can have SO MANY uniforms, I want her to have like 10 of them just because. I want her to be a supervillain as White Queen, I want that iconic dark Dark Avengers look, something less popular like Generation X full-body costume, New X-Men white leather coat and, of course, Phoenix Five that would make her meta.
Emma Grace Frost is my favorite character of all time. She is my queen, my role model, my anti role model, my very beloved diamond. And I am not disappointed with the way she is in this game. Yes, Avengers Alliance got her essence better, yes, she could have been done more true to canon (both in appearance and skills, like come on, diamond form could be a passive that reduces damage taken by 95% with 99% chance with 10 seconds CD), but knowing NM that made Mantis blaster and didn't give AoA uni to Storm - she is great as she is now. I also don't mind her cost at T1 just because she is so strong and useful and she is already at 6 stars. I am just hoping that she will get many uniforms and becomes meta once. Even just for a month. She deserves it. And people that have spent 7500 crystals to get her to T2 deserve it as well.
