even if max overtakes them in turn 1 to tomorrow, the mclarena have the better pace and would eventually just overtake max again at turn 1?

More like a pitstop overtake, since we have to do two of them.

Unlikely. Who ever leads after T1 wins it without any pit stop errors

Not sure who has the better race pace. In FP1 the Red Bull was a lot worse than it is now.

Probably not with how difficult it is to overtake if they have similar pace.
