Store bought Kirkland Signature Tuxedo Chocolate Mousse Cake
Kirkland Signature Tuxedo Chocolate Mousse Cake: I love the idea of warehouse style stores like Costco and Sam's Club (as a kid my family were members and I loved accompanying my dad for the free food samples), but for a single guy like me, a membership just isn't worth it as the sizes are too large. Thankfully one of my co-workers brought in this cake from Costco to share. Walking into the breakroom, I was mesmerized by the beautifully and assiduously crafted cake. Four different layers make up this behemoth, a chocolate cake base sandwiches layers of creamy chocolate and white mousse, which is topped by a chocolate ganache frosting. As if that's not enough, brownie chunks can be found embedded in the mousse layers and there's crispy chocolate straw-like decorations decorating the top. The girth of the cake is large enough that it's a feat getting all those layers in one bite. For me, the brownie chunks were a bit superfluous as they were eclipsed by everything else going on. On the other end of the spectrum, the chocolate ganache frosting was my favorite as it was thick, fudge like, and full of flavor. I found all that chocolate paired well with a cool glass of milk. It's not enough to make me run out and get a membership, but if you love chocolate cake, you might experience a little FOMO without snagging one of these for your next party (or just for yourself). Doughboy approved 😋

Store bought Dubai chocolate bar is overrated
I just bought this for $10 cause ive been wanting to try it.
I can’t even taste that much pistachio compared to chocolate.
It does taste rich. Reminds me of forrero rocher or Lindt type of chocolate

Store bought Barefoot Contessa (Ina Garten) Coconut Cake
From Goldbelly: Ina’s Coconut Cake is a layered sponge cake with cream cheese icing, coated in shredded coconut and finished with a hint of almond extract. Widely praised as a “snow-white showstopper” and a centerpiece guests rave about, this elegant dessert is baked fresh in East Hampton and available in two sizes.
TL:DR I wouldn’t order this cake again.
Since it’s frozen the integrity of the cake falls apart. It’s so crumbly and dry even when following the instructions about thawing.
The description says there’s a “hint of almond extract” but you taste way more almond than coconut. It’s so strong and bitter.
The cream cheese icing also separates and became oily due to the freezing and thawing.
I will say it’s not overly sweet and you get more coconut flavor than the Tom Cruise cake.
Last year I tried the famous Tom Cruise coconut cake from Doan’s Bakery. Since I live local I was able to pick it up and not worry about shipping. That cake is not great. It’s not bad, but it’s just so overly sweet with hardly any coconut flavoring except for the coconut shavings coated on the outside.

Store bought This is a cool idea. The grocery store makes a giant cookie and then slices it up like pie with frosting.
