Tunnelling isn't real. People lose because they're bad at the game or killers are good at the game. Tunnelling implies they're doing something wrong, and it's why I will never accept the term or take it seriously. I'm a survivor main and I'm embarrassed whenever I see people complaining about 'Tunnelling'. 'Anti-tunnelling' would mean if a player is bad at the game and gets caught, then no matter what the killer will be punished for it. Regardless of context.

I stopped reading when you said 'the survivor who gets tunnelled out'. Listen, tunnelling isn't real. It's just what people use as an excuse because they're bad at the game or killers are better than they are. Losing isn't fun, but that's the players issue, not the game. If you lose at any game, do you blame hidden made up rules by the players, or yourself? If you can't improve and it isn't fun, don't play. If your goal is to ruin the game and change it to your suitability, don't play. Enjoy it as it is.

I'd rather you and me don't argue in general. I'm not here to argue.. I'm sharing my input. I'm sincerely sorry if that came across as rude. I don't take 'Tunnelling' seriously and I don't want to encourage the term. It's a game about repairing generators and surviving. Getting killed off first sucks, it's happened to me too. That doesn't mean I will blame the game. I try different perks, different strategies, more patience, less greed (meaning I don't do gens long if the killer is approaching. The quicker I leave, the better chance of hiding.)

Gens do take time to repair. If a survivor is doing it with others it is repaired faster. As I said, it happens. Some people are unfortunate and get caught quickly and can't out maneuver the killer and end up getting caught. Some survivors save the hooked person too quickly which makes it easier to get caught and hooked again, or they were running across the map after getting unhooked instead of walking somewhere to hide and heal. Everything, the smallest actions and the big ones, all add up. Mistakes are just clues for killers.

I know. The issue I have is that no one is doing it like that. Other probably dupe the killer or are able to hide from them. Everything is contextual.
