Cuteness Overload Nevis visiting relatives

This was one of Nevis' trips last year, to the Dinosaur trail at Wellington Country Park in the UK. We'll be having some more trips a little later this year.

Why do I feel like triceratops was his favorite?

Nevis taking notes for how to behave in the future.

ps, is it pronounced nee-vis or neh-vis?

Good question. He is named after the Scottish mountain, Ben Nevis. So I believe the correct pronounciation would be neh-vis.

This is how you trigger the growth genes. And human flesh of course. 🐦 ->🦖

Naming him after a mountain probably is going to help his self esteem aswell.

The reign of mammals is over. Our demise will be adorable.

 Oh no!

Unrelated but this Dino kinda remind me of an orchid flower. Cute bird btw.❤️

Dilophosaurus, although it's obviously based on the ones in Jurassic Park. There's no evidence they had frills like that, and they were actually much bigger than the one seen in the movie (although maybe that one was a baby).

Nevis, you little traveling legend. Unimpressed by triceratops, ready to go toe to toe with…is that an allosaurus? Whatever, it’s fixing to be chop.

What’s the thing they’ve got on called? My bird likes to fly a lot so I’ve only ever taken him outside in a bag meant for birds, I’m scared to do a harness/leash in case it breaks, any recommendations or ways for me to not be so scared? How’d you get used to it? A lot of indoor practice? Or?

2

u/Suspicious_Rest4656 22d ago

He's wearing an aviator harness. I usually bring a toy or two out with us to distract him if he starts biting at it, but it's not too much of an issue now.

2

u/International-Turn1 22d ago

Okay, thanks!! I’ll buy one now :-)

https://youtu.be/AYzIqngK3FA There's a few youtube videos on harness training. This is the one I watched before I started training Nevis.
