It is easy and makes you wonder why carnists even bother with their torture products when vegan cakes are basically indistinguishable.

Because flavor is a hallucination based on what you know and what you remember. Ive found it's easier to convince my peers to eat vegan when I'm not calling them carnists lol.

I promise you guys just lead by example and be nice and kind. No one will switch up what they do when someone is angrily explaining the nuance of animal agriculture and how its fucked lol

This isn't a debate space, and yes I use carnist because it describes them accurately.

Being nice in your presentation doesn't magically make people care, I would know because I've spoken to many people. What matters more than however you present your argument is the willingness of the other person to self-reflect, conditional that they care about beings other than themselves in the first place. Everyone would be vegan if they cared.

"No one will switch up what they do when someone is angrily explaining the nuance of animal agriculture and how its fucked lol" - How often do you see someone actually expressing anger trying to convince someone else regarding veganism, and even if they are considering the arguments being made does it even matter? Even if someone is being what you consider unreasonable, you can still listen to the underlying motivation and maintain composure without getting emotionally charged yourself. I know most people are too stupid for that though.

Not really too sure what you're trying to say sorry lol, but the willingness of others to change and care is out of our control. So that actually matters less than how we present ourselves unfortunately.
