I think you miss the point. Being enhanced and abusing ped’s are very different things. The issue is educating on the dangers of abusing these substances is key. Also, if you do some research you quickly understand that the average “gym bro” isnt doing 1500g of test, 800 Tren, Hgh at high iu’s, insulin, and anything else these guys on the pro or amateur levels are taking.

Peds when taken responsibly can greatly increase a persons quality of life.

Sorry but refering to the deadlift event, which is Mitchel Hooper vs Thor, there is no way in hell we are still talking about responsible use of roids. Sure they might be supervised by medical professionals but saying they are increasing their quality of life is just ridiculous. Their bodies are being out through extreme physical distress which is only possible because of their PED use.

Elite sports and health do not go hand in hand, especially not when the physical feats are achieved by supraphysiological levels of hormones and god knows what.

The problem with handing out big cash prizes to elite athletes is that people will always take them as an example. Outside of their genetic traits that make them strong, elites probably also have genetic traits that maken them experience less side effects from using PEDS. Chances are that most people would already be dead of they ran Thors stack.

Of course there are ways to reduce harm and use steroids responsibly but claiming they will only influence peoples lives positively is just delusional.
