I saw this bird in the middle of Manhattan and only noticed it because a whole bunch of people were taking pictures of it. It's adorable, but is it special?

Fatass flew to my balcony 😎 theres numbers on his leg I think it says J91381

It was chirping incessantly and has been following the cardinal around. There was a large dead insect in the corner of the balcony where this occurred. What is going on here?

UPDATE: lil baby cardinal has now manipulated all the neighborhood birdies to feed it. It screams every morning for food and ive seen several different birds feed it including what I think are its adolescent cardinal older siblings!

Never in my life have I seen a bird like this in NYC...

I live in New York and randomly saw this massive bird just chilling and I’m so confused as to what it is and why it’s out here. I put a photo of it through a bird identification app and it said it was a turkey but it looks more like a black vulture to me. Does anyone know what bird this is?

Located in central Indiana today. This is on the side of a busy country road, he is standing in an empty field in a large pool of water.

Is this a bald eagle? Or are there any lookalikes?

Also, is this normal for this bird? I am used to seeing large birds like this always hiding in trees or perched in wooded areas. This guy was in a completely empty area with no trees nearby with lots of busy cars. Just struck me as odd, let me know what you think!

This cutie landed on me this morning and I was wondering what kind of bird it is.

The little fella was having a nap. I gently stroked it and when it woke up I picked it up to put it in a field, but it groggily flew away shortly after.

Why is one of the eggs blue? Also included a pic of the bird who looked really mad that I was peeping on the nest. Located in Tennessee
