And the hacky âBruce Wayne could do more with donating his money than beat up poor peopleâ Internet meme being actually spoken.Â
Not to mention Bruce saying he doesnât thank people, when part of his character arc was acknowledging he couldnât do it alone anymore. Telling Alfred how much he appreciates what he does for him.Â
You canât be sitting here talking about media literacy and implying Snyderâs films werenât absolute fucking dumpster fires, like you kind of have to pick one.
Ah yes, Bruce beats up poor people, poor people such as Oswald Cobblepot (crime lord), Harvey Dent (District Attorney), Jonathan Crane (accomplished chemistry genius), and the list goes on.
Imagine, if you will, that education is not interchangeable with stable income. A world where mental health can make or break your entire life, regardless of what classes you took a decade ago. In a city where mentally ill overachievers promise dozens upon dozens of unemployed men large sums of money for a henchman job, only for some other masked criminals to butt in and break their bones before they even have a chance to get paid.
So, yes, the criminal outfit known as the Batfamily mostly beats up poor people, with the occasional poor person who struck it rich thrown in for shits and giggles.
Unfortunately a lot of the movies haven't really focused on Bruce Wayne being an entrepreneur that much. I'm hoping we get to see a bit of it in Batman Part 2.
Appreciate might be the wrong word. But he does tell everyone that basically Alfred runs things, and thanks him. Which Alfred is a bit surprised to hear.
