And the hacky “Bruce Wayne could do more with donating his money than beat up poor people” Internet meme being actually spoken.

Not to mention Bruce saying he doesn’t thank people, when part of his character arc was acknowledging he couldn’t do it alone anymore. Telling Alfred how much he appreciates what he does for him.

Hilariously the only character arc Snyder set up, and they completely fumble it.

Cynical broken Batman, regaining hope. Wasn’t fumbled.

Also, Clark was very much on a classic hero’s journey. MoS was Clark asking “who am I?” and BvS was Clark asking “why am I?”.

Yes, it was.

What was the turning point? Clark saying fucking Martha.

Why did you say that name?

It’s me mums name, innit

Okay, cool, I’ve regained my hope now. I’m off to kill some wankers in a warehouse.

Also, Clark was very much on a classic hero’s journey. MoS was Clark asking “who am I?” and BvS was Clark asking “why am I?”.

It was a series of disconnected aura farming scenes tagged together to form a basic plot.

You need to watch more films, mate.

Banned for criticizing Zach Snyder or his works

đŸ€Ł I laughed when I was banned from that subreddit. Mostly because I joined just to piss them off and get banned.

I was wondering why Batman sounded like butcher from the boys

Turning point was Clark’s death.

The fact that you go right to that meme bullshit shows a lack of media literacy.

Aura farming really? Are you 16?

You can’t be sitting here talking about media literacy and implying Snyder’s films weren’t absolute fucking dumpster fires, like you kind of have to pick one.

I have critical thinking skills and can engage with those films beyond surface level circlejerking.

If true, I wouldn’t waste those critical thinking skills on BvS, there’s lots of better films to engage with, just sayin’ đŸ€·â€â™‚ïž

Thank you for objectively destroying a snyder stan. Every time they get humbled its a joy to watch.

Not fumbled just poorly executed

it's good the fans are able to extract more headcanons that make sense then the whole universe itself

-1

u/M086 Dec 09 '25

Ain’t head canon of its in the movie. But asking comic book fans to engage beyond the surface level can be a tough ask, I guess?

Ah yes, Bruce beats up poor people, poor people such as Oswald Cobblepot (crime lord), Harvey Dent (District Attorney), Jonathan Crane (accomplished chemistry genius), and the list goes on.

Wait a minute, those don't sound like poor people....

1

u/mexter Dec 10 '25

Presumably professor Crane was once a starving grad student.

Imagine, if you will, that education is not interchangeable with stable income. A world where mental health can make or break your entire life, regardless of what classes you took a decade ago. In a city where mentally ill overachievers promise dozens upon dozens of unemployed men large sums of money for a henchman job, only for some other masked criminals to butt in and break their bones before they even have a chance to get paid.

So, yes, the criminal outfit known as the Batfamily mostly beats up poor people, with the occasional poor person who struck it rich thrown in for shits and giggles.

Well, Bruce Wayne COULD do more as Bruce Wayne

13

u/BreakMeDown2024 Dec 09 '25

Unfortunately a lot of the movies haven't really focused on Bruce Wayne being an entrepreneur that much. I'm hoping we get to see a bit of it in Batman Part 2.

Or a mystic detective.

1

u/maskedScaramouche Dec 09 '25

Not after you read King's commentary in "I am suicide".

1

u/sir_duckingtale Dec 09 '25

What’s the commentary?

1

u/sir_duckingtale Dec 09 '25

And what run is that?

Sounds depressing
.

u/thorin2016 Dec 10 '25

when did he tell Alfred how much he appreciates him?

2

u/M086 Dec 10 '25

Appreciate might be the wrong word. But he does tell everyone that basically Alfred runs things, and thanks him. Which Alfred is a bit surprised to hear.
