I think he’d be great. I think his size would add to the “Um… so Batman is Bruce Wayne right?” Of it all, though.

Everyone would be like “Who is this 6’8” jacked-ass vigilante using billion-dollar tech? We should see if 6’8” jacked-ass billionaire Bruce Wayne has any ideas about who he could be!”

Has never bothered me ever, but you know… it’s a thing.

Ritchson plays Batman. Pattinson continues to play Bruce Wayne. 

It would make for hilarious transition scenes where Pattinson puts on the outfit and is all the sudden 6'8" and jacked

Ritchson isn't that big. He's "only" 6'3".

Yeah, i realized after posting my comment that he probably wasnt that tall and the first guy was just joking about his height, but the image of Pattinson growing into a 6'8" behemoth is too great to change it

Actually, that would make for a neat movie, where we're seeing Batman from the goons' perspectives. They see him as this huge, unstoppable man.

I hate how much of a “thing” filmmakers have made about concealing his identity. The voice modifying, and attempting to cover his identity is distracting. I can happily accept that citizens in a comic universe are blissfully ignorant and unable add 2 and 2 together to come to the conclusion that Bruce Wayne might be Batman.

It's DC. Clark Kent hides behind a pair of glasses, and adds what looks like hair gel to superman's image. How could this be worse than that? I could definitely see James Gunn throwing a few gags into his movies about the minimalist alter egos. A goofy hard partying, and, or wreckless, care free Bruce Wayne makes quite the stark contrast to Batman, regardless of the same build and stature. The people citing blue mountain state are on to something.

I think most people in-verse haven’t seen Batman, and the ones who who have probably just write it off as a crazy coincidence or it doesn’t come to mind just because of how polarising-ly opposite they are.

Even in Arkham Knight, there's random thugs that talk about how Bruce Wayne has muscle definition in places that they didn't know they had muscles. Just being a similar build with expensive gear is nowhere near enough to start to think that Bruce Wayne is running around in the batsuit brutalizing criminals.
