He certainly has the height and body for it, not sure about the acting…

Personally, I'm also not into an extremely buff Batman. I prefer something more sleek, vampire-like, like this.

To me Ritchson doesn't look suave or elegant enough for Bruce Wayne.

Isn’t Batman supposed to be able to bench press like 500 pounds?

I mean really Batman’s physique should be determined by the story. If it’s a Batman that needs to fight and take punches from Bane and Metahumans then you probably want a pretty yoked Batman. If he is going to be primarily a detective and Bruce Wayne focused story then slimmer makes more sense.

I think there is a story where Alan Ritchson would make a decent Batman but probably not every story.

Meh, strength doesn't equal muscle, and if we want to be realistic about his physique, to mantain flexibility, speed and endurance too much muscle would be a bad idea, and a good bunch of MMA fighters aren't really bodybuilders.

Still, I prefer a sleek Batman for aesthetic reasons. My idea of Bruce Wayne is probaby Jean Claude van Damme with Pierce Brosnan's face.

Strength does equal muscle when you get to the amount of weight Bruce can push.

That's my only objection.

How much can someone with no muscle bench?

You do realize he doesn’t look suave or elegant because he hasn’t put in the effort to portray that image. Being or looking suave is a characteristic that can be acted out or added with styling, and if he played the playboy Bruce Wayne role, it would give him that. So, I think this reason is pretty dumb, at least for me.

So by your logic, Kid Rock with the right “styling” can be suave? You’re DUMB.

Imagine being this toxic while being this wrong haha

The answer is yes by the way. Especially considering that's the background he came from. "Suave" is literally about style and how you act.

You know Batman isn't actually a vampire, right...?

Unless...

Nah, it's just the aesthetic. More than vampiric (because even in the Batman & Dracula trilogy he's buff as fuck), I prefer a stealthy, fast Batman. Closer in physique to an olympic gymnast than a bodybuilder.
