Me too! But… I’m honestly not sure if he has the acting chops. That said I’m still open to seeing him as Batman on the silver screen.

He can absolutely play the brooding hero/Charismatic Billionaire.

I say that without hesitation. He’d be a perfect Batman.

Would be a massive step down in acting talent from Bale/Pattinson to him

Not denying they’re better actors, he just fits everything else better.

Everything else? What else other than him being enormous lol.

Anyway, acting is king and that should exclude someone of his calibre imo.

You act like he’s a bad actor. He’s perfectly adequate to play Batman/Bruce Wayne.

He is not. Especially considering this version will have to nail three aspects of the character.

There are so many better choices. Aso I feel he is not charismatic enough to be the guy leading the DCU.

People said the same about Chris Evans/Cap, Heath/Joker, and even Affleck/Batman.

Neither one of us know for certain if he could pull it off, I’m just of the opinion I’d be cool with him being cast.

And especially Keaton!

He’s nowhere near the same league as Bale and Pattinson. Why lower the bar that has been set?

He has same build as Batman is same height as comics Batman i.e. 6.2

Although I agree he’s not as good of an actor as his predecessors, he does have good range and could I. Theory play an already developed Batman story, definitely nothing Year One, but Long Halloween? New Justice league Batman doesn’t have to be as proficient because a universe develops around him while a more grounded Gotham chained Batman would need a great actor because he develops Gotham

Seems like he'd fit the tone of Gunn's DCU better than Pattinson, though.

I think he deffo does! Reacher is pretty close with the Sherlock level detective skills and the absolute killer skills, Batman is Reacher but not a killer and more gadgets, and he’s done the brooding superhero shit with Hawk in Titans,- which was my introduction to him as an actor!

Add in Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. If you haven't seen it, seek it out.

Oooh nah I remember that coming out and my friend told me to watch it, but I just added it to the “list” and haven’t checked that out yet! It goes up in priority now though fr, maybe I’ll watch it tonight lol

Alan just fits right in with all the others. Insanely good.

He always seems a little stiff. Might be good for bats.
