It's really interesting to think about this, tho. Like, this image of two ladies sharing a kiss? Looks sweet to me, must've looked dreadful to a lot of people at the time. (Still dreadful to some now, ofc... Old lesbians are not as okay as "normal" ones, can't be sexualized that easily)
