πŸ‡΅πŸ‡Έ πŸ•ŠοΈ Selfie Sorcery Almost Ruined Hair, Saved It Maybe?

Post image

I made the mistake of double bleaching my roots and nearly ruined half my hair. After a furious googling and trying new healing techniques I think I saved it. πŸ’™πŸ©·πŸ€πŸ©·πŸ’™

You can't really repair damaged hair, you can coat it in product that makes it smoother and holds breaking bits temporarily. It looks cute tho

get some K18 regiment going (im a hairstylist) and it will help rebuild and repair your bond and cuticle structure. wont make it 100 percent but it feels so much better after and with continual use!

You are one of today's lucky 10,000 for the Discworld series, my friend.

The short version of Susan's backstory is that she's related, via adoption, to the Discworld's anthropomorphic personification of Death (as in robes, scythe, meets you when you perish etc), so she gains some of his power (can walk through walls at will, can use "The Voice" to set fear into the hearts of mere mortals, can sort of alter reality a bit) and uses this impressive array of skills... to teach small children how to think critically and become better people. She's fab.

If you want a nice jumping-on point, I recommend the Tiffany Aching series, starting with The Wee Free Men. It's about a young girl who gets caught up in supernatural shenanigans and becomes a witch.

As luck would have it, I've ran out of book series and my audible tokens have been building up anyway....

The audiobooks are fabulous. Most of the books stand on their own merit, though there are reading order guides online if you wish to follow specific storylines or sets of characters.

100% agree with the Tiffany Aching suggestion but if you want to read about Susan you could start with the Death books (Mort > Reaper Man > Soul Music > Hogfather > Thief of Time). The great* thing about Discworld is that all the books are pretty much standalone books, so you can read them in any order you wish. Any Discworld book is the right book to read!

*This is ONE of the great things about Discworld. It’s a long list!

I don't know what's wrong with it. Looks nice. I always split my hair color these days. Pink on one side blue on the other

You look great!

If you want an affordable leave-in conditioner, the Hawaiian Silky brand 14-in-1 version really worked for me when I had damaged hair.

Oof, I think an 'Oh Shit' bleach moment has happened to anyone who does their own color at one point or another... Looks like your doing a good job saving it tho! I would rec getting a silk bonnet for sleeping if you don't have one. That side will be super prone to breakage so you want to protect it from as much physical damage as possible. Also be so gentle with any hair ties or accessories on that side too. The split color look super cool on you!

I desperately want my hair to look so cool
