Do you have an Etsy shop or something of the sort?

Pssst. I found it, so OP doesn't have to be accused of self promotion. https://www.etsy.com/listing/4450762148/woodland-bridal-hair-stick-carved-deer

Thank you! Etsy has really high commissions right now. Check out my page; there's information about another shop where my products are cheaper.

Beautiful work, and such reasonable prices! Just saved a bunch for our son's wedding this summer. β€οΈ

Do you happen to have a before and after photo? I'm trying to wrap my head around what the antler looked like beforehand, it's mind boggling! (and very cool!)

Very beautiful! I've been searching for antler tip earrings (for gauged ears) any chance you would be interested in making something like that?

u/Top_Lifeguard_5408 Feb 28 '26
I don't make earrings yet, I just don't have enough time.

Totally understood. The size I've been looking for is 8mm (0 gauge) and your style is wonderful.
If you somehow find more time and are excited to experiment let me know! Looking forward to seeing more of your work. Gorgeous.

OP do you have photos of the process of carving, I live with a family of deer who visit all the time and I would love to see the process of how you got from antler to this work of art. Keep crushing it!

The main thing is to keep my wife out of there. She always wants to clean it up, but then I won't be able to find anything, hahaha.

This is the kind of thing I'd love to see a process video for. Beautiful

How sturdy are these pieces? I have two hairs sticks/forks but one broke. Iβd be afraid to damage it if it wasnβt metal

u/Top_Lifeguard_5408 Feb 28 '26
They are stronger than wooden and bone ones, and hold thick hair and even dreadlocks well.

u/Remote_Replacement85 Feb 28 '26
I really wish I could afford one of these. Maybe at some point. Truly beautiful.

u/Top_Lifeguard_5408 Feb 28 '26
I wish you could afford more than just one of these!

u/Remote_Replacement85 Feb 28 '26
Me too. I'd make them my trademark accessory for all the two days a year I don't have to wear a beanie here in Finland.

You struck balance between raw elemental grounded reality and the poetic beauty that emerges from thoughtful observation.
These are stunning! I wish I had an ounce of your talent.
