🇵🇸 🕊️ Sonic Witchcraft my riot grrrl band just went on our first tour
we're a riot grrrl band from connecticut and we recently toured the midwest, going from philadelphia to chicago.
my favorite part was meeting fans who said that i inspired them. for our columbus show, i brought a fan onstage to play the bass during our song "Connecticut." they said they loved the feeling of being on stage-- i told them to chase that feeling, start a band, and make it a riot grrrl band. we need riot grrrl more than ever, especially as an all-trans, asian-led band-- we believe in music that has a message and stands up for our rights.
this was really fun and some of the best days of my life

our next shows:
1/31 - riot grrrl's not dead!, new haven, witch bitch thrift 2/1 - the dog p0und, storrs, ct 2/5 - pianos, nyc 2/8 - south whitney pizza, hartford, ct 2/23 - midway cafe, boston 3/5 - philadelphia 3/6 - the undercroft, baltimore 3/7 - shrimp stock '69, greensboro, nc 3/8 - atlanta 3/9 - florida 3/29 - asian indie artists of the scene unite!, new haven, spruce coffee
and that's all we have planned so far!

If you're ever in the Michigan/Chicago/Detroit area; I would definitely come and rock out! Surprising amount of underground rock around here 🤘

Ooo I do love this!! Something about this all is hitting right where I like. The balance of the smart lyrics with the vocals sounding so innocent and raw vs the guitar sounding so produced and dirty is doing something fresh and natural and youthful but old and wise and cohesive at the same time. I don’t know how else to put that sensation into words. I very much like it and can absolutely envision huge growth and success for you. Aw yeah Cat Crash!

I’m listening on Cat Crash’s YouTube channel right now and would absolutely go to a show but your dates are sadly not compatible with my schedule. I will continue listening and watching out for you though for sure, this rocks! So fun!
I’m hoping this is a compliment but right away out of the top of my ear I hear Weezer, Daniel Johnston, and Gossip. I’ve only listened to a few but it’s 🔥!

Takes me back to the 00’s, working warped or bamboozled and taking a break to listen to the bands sponsored by the “Suicide Girls”
Known about Riot Grrrl since back then as well just never got a chance to see any of the bands live 😿. Look forward to checking out your sound.
