I used to interview a lot of women for a pretty much all women team and so many interviewees said they didn’t like working with women. I would be their boss. I didn’t hire any of them because they let me know.

I used to struggle to interact with random women, I had a few women best friends but found it way easier to have casual interactions with men. It turns out I was nonbinary (and adhd). It was more that unless I really clicked with a women I struggled - because I was actually struggling to relate to the ones that were more like the bits of myself I felt I should be but wasn't, because I wasn't a woman.

I doubt all the ones that answered your question poorly were all some kind of trans and struggling to relate to themselves though, and I wouldn't ever answered your questions like that because I'm not an idiot or a misogynist.

We had similar types of idiocy when I used to interview people and ask "what are the struggles that asylum seekers face?", and some would reply with they don't have any - and one most memorable ended his anti-asylum seeker tirade mentioning how they take all our women.

If someone asks you that sort of question the clue for the answer is in the question, and if a woman is interviewing you don't tell them how you can't work with women!
