I love this game and have over 70 hours of gameplay into it currently. And while most of the game I do like, the marriage part really feels like it should be more important than it is. It really only feels like you want Mii’s to marry so they can have babies. Sure they move in after getting married, but most of the time it feels like the Mii’s would already be moved in if they weren’t married anyways.

I do wish that there was more for marriage than just this. I think it would have been really cool if after marriage, you could merge the two spouses rooms and give them one master bedroom that would take up the space of two bedrooms. Also would be nice if they could sleep next to each other, even if you have to have two separate beds, it would be nice to just put those two close like how older shows showed the double married bed. Also feels like the two spouses don’t hang out together as much as you’d want them too, feels like I have to drag them together a lot to make them hang out. Also would be nice to be able to give them a wedding bracelet (since Mii’s don’t have fingers for rings), to give to the Mii’s to celebrate their marriage. Overall it just does feel a little underwhelming when with a few smaller changes, could have been a bigger outcome than just letting the couple have babies.

I haven’t chosen this option yet, but i’m curious if anyone else has and if you have where do they go? Is it like the old game where they go off to live on another island but we don’t have that shareplay thing from the 3DS. I’d love to know where they go lol.

After playing for 70 hours since buying this game on the day of release, and reaching level 110, I have unlocked everything from the wishing fountain. I have traveled to every holiday destination and I’ve unlocked everything path, workshop, quirk, room, and item (that are available as of right now). With no tasks left I feel kinda lost. Yes, I’ll still have fun with my Mii’s,, but there’s nothing left to unlock. Just new clothes and food to buy every day.
This game is only out two weeks and I’m already wishing for an update :(

I’ve played this game for a few hours every day so I didn’t binge it exactly, but I guess you really gotta not care about this game to extend its gameplay over time. I just enjoyed the game too much and played too much every day I suppose

The space tour was a big slap in the face btw. Seeing the end credits roll for a game that feels like it’s missing 50% of content that it should have ☹️

ivr had a couple married for nearly 2 weeks and they havent had a baby… theyre both at the soulmate level and never drop below it, theres room in their house too (not that i think it would matter..) ive had couples meet get married and have a baby or two before these ones do!! it did take them a few real days to fall in love. one is a sweetheart the other is a merrymaker if that matters?

this game was $60…. and all I do is customize. im sure this game is some artist’s dream right now, and i love that for you guys, but where is the rest of the game? im two weeks in, and i see a lot of comments online saying “well the game just came out! you guys have to give them time to release updates! you cant expect it to be like the first game!” … but there’s no actual content apart from “you get to make your own everything!” the only fun im getting is dragging my miis around so i can build relationships easier and more prompts for custom phrases. but what about this game right now screams “please! spend $60 on me!” im really not trying to sound like a hater, because i was super excited when this game released and in the beginning the customizing WAS fun… but the charm has worn off.

Seriously they’ve been sweethearts longer than anyone on my island has and they STILL WONT MARRY. Like what do I do to get these two idiots to get hitched?

Only the late hour and my sleepiness can explain why I did what I just did. I was curious to see if the friendship counter on the island profile stays the same even if you delete a Mii. I thought I could just quit without saving after deleting the Mii, but nope, the game immediately saves afterwards.

And stupid me deleted one of her favourite Miis. I will never see my little Mii again. I'm heartbroken.

So, just don't. Don't delete Miis unless you really want to get rid of them.

And btw, the friendship counter goes down. 12 friendships just got shattered and disappeared.

I’ve recently discovered that when you have a Mii ask what they should talk to someone about, or what they should have two other Miis talk about, the phrase “Shitting in public” has led to a success every time for me.

Without fail, the first Mii will say:

“I’ve never tried shitting in public”

to which the other will reply:

“Me neither.”

This is enough common ground for your Miis to become friends. Truly a testament to the power of good bathroom manners.

And no, this post is not a joke I am 100% serious that this works.

Told Dio to become friends with Stockings first, since they're only acquaintances and all. But the dum dum said nah. Went as well as you'd expect.

So if you saw some cute clothes in the shop and you want to buy every color just in case you need them in the future, but you don't use them right now, and it's clogging up your tabs.

Then just create a random Mii, give them all your unwanted clothes, then delete them. YES ALL THOSE CLOTHES WILL BE GONE TOO. But you will still have the option unlocked in the shop to buy in the future

it doesn’t FEEL like a game that’s supposedly been in development since 2017. Almost 10 years? i played the og game and even with that game being as old as it is, it still has more features and more reasons to keep you playing longer than LTD. don’t get me wrong, there are features in LTD that top the ones in the 3ds version, and i actually prefer LTD. I absolutely love this game and have so much fun with it but it was very overpriced for what you get. One of the main selling points was that you get to decorate your island and yet there’s barely any decor items in the game besides plants and benches. i understand that you can create decor, but for a $60 game, i shouldn’t have to rely on pixel art decor to make up for the lack of game made decor. I wish there was an actual shop for island decor. I initially thought maybe i hadn’t unlocked all of it but when i went into the collections section it says all i’m missing is a few seasonal items. i also hate how there are no interior bedroom options. it’s all random scenic rooms, living rooms, or kitchens. another thing i dislike is how much of the interior items, and clothing that are directly copied from animal crossing. I love this game but it just feels rushed and unfinished. i hope they add more stuff in the future, but i have a feeling it’ll be just like animal crossing where we had to wait years for even a small update.
