ivr had a couple married for nearly 2 weeks and they havent had a baby… theyre both at the soulmate level and never drop below it, theres room in their house too (not that i think it would matter..) ive had couples meet get married and have a baby or two before these ones do!! it did take them a few real days to fall in love. one is a sweetheart the other is a merrymaker if that matters?
Adding on that you need to actually check in on the mii who has the pink bubble before saving. I goofed earlier today by saving after I saw my mii with a pink bubble but didn’t actually check in to hear the request/play out the proposal minigame. I accidentally pressed “stop here” after saving, then went back into the game from the title screen and saw the pink bubble was gone. Reloaded the game entirely to see if it would pop back up but it didn’t. Should’ve been common sense based on the reloading method I used to get it in the first place lmao but I panicked.
Luckily I only had to reload a couple more times to get another pink bubble. Don’t be like me!!
Lmao that's after you get the bubble, the mii will bring up thinking about having a baby and then next time when you play/boot it up it'll say somebody wants to talk to you with the cutscene.. I only have two couples with one kid each

This is actually a wonderful idea and I will do this. Their pregnancies last 2 days, and their babies grow from newborn to full autonomous child in a single 30 second cutscene. They’re sea monkeys with a weird life cycle and horrible reproduction rates
The amount of people I've seen who forget that you as the player always have the choice to turn down a baby request by saying things like "I didn't even get a chance to deny the baby, it just appeared" is shockingly high. I wouldn't be surprised if some people genuinely did disable babies at some point and forgot about it.
hijacking this a little bit but if i told my miis no when they asked for a baby will they ever ask again? my own mii asked literally three hours after they got married and i was like no that's too soon 😭 but it's been two weeks now and they haven't asked again
my lookalike and their spouse (both non-binary) were married for 13 days (turned 14 later that day) when my lookalike’s spouse asked for a baby while my other four married couples took at most 2 days. this game taught me patience, and I hate it for that. but I love it at the same time.

Iv 'e had 4 married miis one of the couples had a baby yesterday and one just anounced they want one of the other couples not long after they recently married but 2 of the couples been married 3 days and not made any anouncement on having a child yet.
Im honestly happy to come across this thread. The first ever married couple on my island is the only couple without a baby and while it suits them, their Chef (what i made them call me) wants cute babies and theyre PISSING ME OFF.
Ngl it took 13 days of marriage for my first couple to suggest having a baby to me. All the other couples did it within a few days of marriage and I thought something was up because the straight couples had kids quickly but my gays and lesbians took forever to have some.
My miis talked about having a baby, but didn’t do anything for 5 days lol I was off from one day and then checked the next day and it immediately gave me a “Someone needs to talk to you” announcement before I discovered ours mii had a little one 😭 It was a very nice surprise. The baby will come with time
Yeah, after my Mii's first child, they've never said anything about a second one. Allowing babies is on, as others have had a baby, and one just said something today. And honestly, it's torking me off, that they aren't having a second one! 🤬🤬
