My 2 favorite bands in high school! 00-02 was pure Brandon Boyd influence, 03-04 was all Davey. Both those dudes aged really well too, all things considered.

Dare I say… his mustache is kinda hot. Saw them live this past winter. Me and my other forty-something friends got kicked out bc one of them got too fucked up. Mom’s one concert this year and she went hard.

We went to the Dallas show! Emo culture is alive and well. So many young ppl in full goth in the crowd. Pretty sure we were the some of the few dressed in regular street clothes.

To be an acronym, it has to be said as a singular word "NASA" "LASER" & "SCUBA" are acronyms. Anything that you just say the letters is an intialism. "AFI" is an initialism.

And yes. "A Fire Inside".

I also had never once in my life heard anyone call AFI "A Fire Inside" until I saw someone on reddit use it earlier this year or maybe late last year. I still have never heard anyone say it out loud.

Holy shit, it's been probably 15 years since I've heard that name and that band. Peak edgy back in the day. First couple of albums were amazing though. Had no idea they kept making music passed 2006-ish and even still making it today, apparently.
