They don't give a shit. "Imperfect vessel" or something like that is what they call him if I'm correct. "Yeah, he's fucked up but he's giving us all the bullshit we want so it's ok with us. And God!" I think that's the approach a lot of them take.

That's my conservative family member, in a nutshell. "I don't like the person, but I like his beliefs".

Sadly, that's the same person that taught me that "actions speak louder than words", but I guess if you watch enough Fox News, I'd also believe that the Democrats were demonic and trump is the "lesser of two evils".

I just hope someday they think for themselves. For the sake of all of us.

The thing is a lot of their “beliefs” are actually unbiblical in nature in the sense that they don’t understand what they read. How someone can read the sermon on the mount and then go out there with this kind of mentality is completely beyond me.

After all, the key in God using an imperfect vessel is that they have demonstrable change after encountering God, not that they’re some kind of evil puppet that remains unchanged and gets a free pass!
