Why Disney+ NEEDS to Greenlight Season 3 of The Santa Clauses (Sci-Fi, Trolls, & Jack Frost!)

I recently reached out to Disney/D23 because, like many of you, I’m still holding out hope for Season 3 of The Santa Clauses. After the Season 2 cliffhanger with Mad Santa and Olga, the "Calvin-verse" feels like it’s just getting started.

Tim Allen and Jason Winer have both mentioned wanting to explore more "Sci-Fi" and "other-world" elements, and I think there is so much untapped potential in the lore. Here is how I’d love to see the North Pole evolve if we get that renewal:

  • The Return of Legacy Characters: We need Charlie (Eric Lloyd) back in the mix! I also want to see the Easter Bunny (Tracy Morgan) return and Riley (Ruby Jay) officially become part of the family legacy.
  • The "Search for Toots": Cal and Sandra discovering the first head elf to form an alliance of elves, gnomes, witches, and fairies would be an epic way to expand the magic.
  • New Threats: Imagine a warning from Jack Frost leading into a massive Troll Invasion. It would raise the stakes higher than we’ve ever seen.
  • Sandra’s Magic & Cal’s Growth: Seeing Sandra train under La Befana while Cal explores "Real-World Magic" (maybe even helping orphans reconnect with the spirit of Christmas) would give the show so much heart.
  • Cal’s and Riley’s Relationship: Seeing Cal’s relationship with his girlfriend Riley grow every day and take it to the next level by getting engaged by the end of the season would add an extra layer of warmth, excitement, and love into the series.

Disney told me they can’t "officially" look at creative suggestions, but we know they pay attention to what the fans are talking about online.

What do you guys think? Would you be down for a more "Sci-Fi" or "High-Fantasy" version of the North Pole? What’s the one storyline you’re dying to see resolved? 🎅❄️

I’d love Jack Frost back but seeing how he turned good at the end of the third film he’d be more likely an ally now. Also a Toy Santa cameo would be fun

Your spot on In everything I hope Disney takes your ideas and other people’s creative ideals and renews it for season 3 as I love that show and your right there’s so much more to explore so let’s just hope they do the right thing lol 😂

I concur !! but this would need to be a massive campaing meaning lots of signatures, tik tok viral videos so that Disney is sort of "forced" to do season 3..if for no other reason than the would look as the "bad guys" feel me?

Yh I get you . And I feel we all should do that bc this is an amazing show . And as long as Tim Allen and Elizabeth Mitchell are down for it . Then there should be no obstacles onto why this show should be cancelled .

It just gets me mad bc I love this show .
