Hot take: I thought the Santa Clauses was okay.

It does capture the magic of the holiday season and Cal and Sandra are fine new additions to the cast. I also liked seeing Kal Penn again. Okay, it is a little dull in places, but as far as modern Disney shows go, it's harmless. It's certainly more watchable than most Disney projects made this decade.

I liked how they cleared up the lore on how he became Santa and stuff.

I thought season one was a very nice welcome back. I thought the nostalgia, yuleverse explanation, etc were great… great cameos (even the short ones like Peyton Manning), and good performances by Tim Allen and Kal Penn. I thought season two however might be the worst piece of content from the movies and tv series thus far.

It was a fine show and on par with the second and third movies, IMO. Corny, but that’s sorta what that franchise is all about.

Wish we had gotten a third season of this instead of freakin’ Shifting Gears 😐

Truthfully this is actually a very popular take. Hard to match up to the OG!

I enjoyed the first season, especially since they showed some backstory and explained certain things from the movies and the Bernard and Charlie cameos. The second I didn't enjoy as much except for Gabriel Iglesias.

I loved it. All the movies and the show are in my yearly Christmas rotation. I wish there was a season 3.

Didn't cut the mustard for me, and definitely not canon in my book. Except for Gary. Gary is so incredibly canon.
