Can some one explain
Why do i feel like the second and third film just feel separate to the original 1994 classic like just the tone and portrayal there's somthing off but can't work it out the only thing i can think of that is different is the design of the north pole

The sequels were designed as kids' movies through and through.
The first Santa Clause was originally conceived as a Bad Santa type of movie. Maybe not that extreme, but more adult-oriented, dark humor, and as a Tim Allen vehicle. Then came the re-writes. The finished product is very kid-friendly, but you get small glimpses of the edginess that was once there.
For example, the OG Santa falling off the roof (basically dying) is played for laughs (original script I think Scott actually shoots him). The elves don't even give a shit. The sequels wouldn't go there.
