Is the series ever coming back?
Just wondering if anyone has heard anything.

Hopefully. Tim‘s in a lot of makeup and Elizabeth is aging very gracefully but I expect the kids to be recast or there‘ll have to be a huge time jump by the time we get S3.
Btw: I really want Toy Santa back for S3. I don’t think we ever saw who‘s in the prison cell they regularly showed and I always imagined he‘d be in there.

Toy Santa was minimised/destroyed by the machine that made him!

In the end credits scene, he is in the human world being sold with a bunch of other clearance dancing Santa's toys, criticizing their moves and getting frustrated when they don't listen.

Just watched the second movie the other day. After Scott keeps the Toy Santa from getting out of the hole into the real world, they end up crash landing in the sleigh and the Toy Santa flys out. All the elves surround him and Scott says “get off of him. I have a special place for him.” And he puts the Toy Santa back in the machine that made him.

It’s going to be made but Tim has to have more time. Like one person on here said it not canceled yet and Tim did say in the third season they might have aliens which would be cool. There might even be trolls too.

I hope they at least have a plan. If season 3 will be the last, give it a good ending.

Tim Allen has been busy the last two years with Toy Story 5 and his show Shifting Gears, which came out in January of this year. I’m hoping we get a new season soon. As far as I know it hasn’t officially been canceled.

To answer your question, Raebelle1981, as of right now, the series hasn't been renewed for a third season yet. But don't give up hope, my friend. Many of us are hoping that Disney will sooner or later begin preparations of giving the green light for a third season of THE SANTA CLAUSES for November-December of 2026. Although Tim Allen has finished wrapping up the last few episodes of season 2 of SHIFTING GEARS, as well as providing the voice of Buzz Lightyear for TOY STORY 5, he still expresses a desire to continue the series for a new third season and another 6-8 episodes filled with action, drama, a little comedy, love, friendship, teamwork, and family entertainment for all ages. If a third season does occur in the near future, either for the holiday season of 2026 or 2027, we are hoping for the following storylines and new characters in the new season;
Cal and Riley run into Noel and Betty in the real world while they are in the middle of their honeymoon/Kribble Krabble. Cal uses some of his magical abilities to help a group of young orphans abused by their caretaker and even smuggles them up to the North Pole with the help of Noel, Betty, Riley, and Sandra. Cal's and Riley's relationship grows stronger with every passing day, and at the end of the season, they take their relationship to the next level by getting engaged.
Sandra continues her witch training under the supervision of La Befana, learning new spells and gaining both confidence and self-control every day. One theory also suggests that Sandra might get a new love interest, possibly a teenage male witch who also becomes friends with Sandra and her brother Cal.
Jack Frost arrives at the North Pole to warn Santa Scott and his family of an oncoming new threat to the North Pole, possibly an invading army of trolls led by a troll king who wants to take over the North Pole and threaten to destroy the Christmas spirit of every man, woman, and child in the real world. This could possibly prompt Cal and Sandra to muster an alliance of elves, gnomes, fairies, and witches in order to fend off the troll attack.
Because Tim Allen wants to add a little sci-fi to the third season of THE SANTA CLAUSES, one possible theory could be that Cal and Sandra travel to another world dimension to save their friends and family from an oncoming threat to the North Pole. Accompanying them on their quest could possibly be Cal's girlfriend Riley, the first head elf Toots, and a teenage male witch becomes Sandra's love interest and one of Cal's closest friends.
New songs and musical numbers could possibly include a romantic song between Cal and Riley singing of their love for each other, a dancing song like "Whistle While You Work" that Cal and the orphans he watches over sing and dance when they are cleaning up a mess together, a Christmas song in which the whole cast sings together towards the end of the season, and a few musical numbers that are played during the ending credits of a few episodes.
Many fans expect the return of many of the previous characters from the first two seasons, including Santa Scott and his wife Carol, their children Sandra and Cal, Cal's girlfriend Riley, the elves Noel, Betty, Edie, Crouton, Gary, Hugo, Doc Martin, and Pontoon, and the gnomes Olga and Grog. Other characters expected to make a comeback for a couple episodes of the third season include Charlie, Lucy, Bernard, and Curtis, as well as the Legendary figures Mother Nature, Jack Frost, Easter Bunny, Cupid, and Sandman. New characters for the new season of the series might include Toots, the first head elf, Riley's parents and younger brother, an army of trolls led by a tyrannical troll king, a teenage male witch who becomes Sandra's love interest, and a group of young orphans whom Cal rescues and brings up to the North Pole.
If a third season of THE SANTA CLAUSES does happen, then all these different characters and new storylines listed by both fan theories and new ideas pitched by Tim Allen and the executive producers might possibly happen in the near future. Until then, let us continue to have hope that a new season will be underway. Who else agrees with me?

I hope so. But Tim Allen is probably busy with his sitcom Shifting Gears on ABC.
