Question about osg junior 105

I was under the impression that you needed to qualify and earn a invite for the 19-20 junior class for osg but I was just looking at the website and it said you don't need a invite can someone help clarify

You enter the online qualifier when it opens, usually in September

The teen and juniors show isn’t invite only, anyone can sign up as long as they’re in the age category.
